Biatain Alginate is painless to take off, thanks to its gentle and flexible material that conforms to the wound bed and does not stick to the wound surface.

However, wearing this dressing in the shower is not recommended, as excessive moisture may affect its performance. Depending on the wound condition and amount of exudate, Biatain Alginate can be worn for up to 7 days before a dressing change is needed.
